General presentation

There are 12 Airbus A330-300s in the Thai fleet of 87 aircraft. These planes have a total seating capacity of 305 passengers in a two-class layout.
Royal First Class and Royal Executive Class passengers on intercontinental flights can request a Video Walkman and select their own entertainment from an onboard video library that includes five first-run movies, three classic films, one ballet or music video, and one major sports event video while they relax in commodious seats.
Economy class passengers can enjoy a wide range of entertainment programs and facilities. For parents with small children, there are bulkhead anchors for complimentary bassinets, and diaper-changing shelves in the toilets.

There is a new self-select interactive TV, Audio and Video, On Demand system (AVOD) which is currently available aboard Airbus A340-500s and Airbus A340-600s in all classes and Boeing B747 and Boeing B777-200 in Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class. These planes are now under the reconfiguration program. When flying with THAI on one of these planes, you may now enjoy an international TV channel, CD or film of your choice at a time most convenient to you.

My favourite seat on TG's 333. No need to climb over anybody to get out of your seat and still decent views on either side of the aircraft. These seats could do with some updating. Although the upholstery is well kept and the pitch is a generous 55 inches, the seat itself is very early 90s stock. The footrest is clearly built with Asian passengers in mind and doesn't extend very far or very high. I would like to see these planes receive a makeover in the future, perhaps with lie flat seats.

This row is not so good, because it is not aligned, you will need to cross your legs if you want to stretch during the flight... But a good thing is that you can count with extra space on your sides if you are sitting in a hall. The plane looks old, but well maintained and seats do not count with extra-space on the sides.

On Thai's A330's the business class seats are very out-dated and quite uncomfortable to try and sleep on for an overnight flight. Thai's service seems to be deteriorating from just a year or 2 ago. I think they need to look at their business class seating and introduce more lie flat seats particularly where the aircraft is used for overnight flights. We are seriosly thinking of using Singapore Airlines for our next flight to Europe even though it does cost more.

The business class looks terribly 2 decade old with hardly any upgradation. As good as zero entertainment options. However, it spacious and seats are comfortable. The service is impeccable and food is very good.

It's a shame that the infrastructure can't catch up with the service levels.

Ample leg room, its a short flight so you won't miss the video screen that's bit of a pain to get it, but I don't mind sacrificing the extra leg room for the eating & watching at the same time...

Old and ageing plane. Hardly any video options. Boring.
However, spacious and comfortable seats. And service was outstanding . The food quality was top notch.

It's a shame that the plane is too old.

Crowded plane. The seats is too close together to have a bit personal space. Pretty good AVOD system. The food weren't as good as I expected.
