They are used for both Trans-continental and Trans-Atlantic flights.
There are 10 audio channels with complimentary headsets as well as main screen videos which offer feature films on flights over 3 hours and short features on flight over 1.5 hours. Airphones/Global access phones accepting all major credit cards are in the bank of every seat (hospitality) or within arms reach (executive) and are equipped for in-coming and out-going calls.
