This is a rear facing window business class seat in a ridiculously designed Club world section. You sit facing your seat mate and although there is a plastic screen, the crew bring it down every time they want to serve you food or drinks so you're often eye to eye with a stranger. The seat is not a pod, it has a foot rest you bring down which when you elongate your seat provides the lay flat scenario. It also means you have to climb over your neighbor's foot rest to get into the aisle. If you are short like me you could likely end up hitting his feet or tripping and sitting on his feet as you try to climb over. Flight crew were young and particularly supercillious on this trip, being more interested in telling ordering you about than being hospitable. Our dinner was served with all courses on the tray including wine, water, salad, main course, dessert and bread...where is the choice of bread, the wine poured from a bottle, dessert coming after dinner tray is removed...on other airlines, that's where. All that was missing was cling film wrapping and it could have been a lunchable box. The chicken tikka was nice though. Breakfast was a choice of egg and cheese triangle or peameal bacon sandwich. I only knew it was egg from the menu, it tasted awful. The croissant was dry but I ate it as I needed to eat something. My companion had the bacon sandwich and couldn't eat more than a mouthful. What has happened to BA. Is it the Toronto route? I last flew business on the New York/LHR route and it was much better..though the ridiculous seating design was the same.

Rear facing window seat. Was strange sitting backward at first, but you get used to it.
With the partition between the two seat up, it feels like you are in your own little exclusive cabin. The seat is very comfortable and adjusts into many positions including of course completely flat. The fold out tray has plenty of room for your food and drink when it's time to it. The entertainment system is responsive and BA usually have a great selection of current and older movies, TV series and games. I loved playing battleship with whomever was in 10K!
Cabin service was perfect. Not too intrusive and leaving a cart full of snacks and a fridge full of goodies you are allowed to raid at any time. Not that you need to as the food is very filling. It might not look very generous portion wise, but there are enough courses to fill you up. I've never felt so full on an aircraft. I never once actually nabbed anything from the cart or fridge.

The view of the frankly ginormous engine was also spectacular!

Booking in was a great experience with the new system they have at Manchester airport. All very professional and loads quicker . as the first time flying for over 2 years. My seat was not bad leg room ok seat width limited so not good even though there was enough room just not a great deal. only complaint is no other passengers in my rows on two flights had paid any extra money for legroom and I had been charged 80 pounds per flight that adds up to 320 for the 4 flights I think this is totally unacceptable as I was give no other option but to pay if I wanted the extra legroom as I am 6ft 4 ins tall and 16 stone thought this was my only complaint great job otherwise thanks Roy

Nice first class seat, same as the others. We chose the back row of first class to be close to the bathroom for our infant son incase he needed a change.
This did mean a bit of foot traffic strolling past and also some noise from the business class galley too but for what we needed it was worth it.
Plenty of room, lay flat bed and as always with BA great cabin staff service.
Going first both ways meant we could all sleep during the flight which was ideal to get our body clocks in line with Japan time before landing :-)
Even nicer was that the cabin crew allowed me to have the vacant 4F seat so my wife and son could have their own seats to sleep on rather than sharing as per the booking.

Great First Class seat location, not to close to the galley to be disturbed! The seat was comfortable, the service and the attention to the amenities was wonderful. The space is well utilized for comfort, the only criticism would be they could use an additional storage area for securing passengers items in the seat area. The coat locker is limited and there is storage along the window area that could be converted to a closed space. However the crystal and China updates on the meal service/drinks is very tastefully done. Again service by the flight attendants is alway top shelf, BA is famous for this and they always seem to happy and helpful to assist. Meals were outstanding, again reflecting the change that BA has taken to improve!

This was an exit row seat by the "window" except there really wasn't a window there (the closest thing was the peephole in the exit row door, several feet in front). For an overnight flight this was actually fine for me. This seat does seat kind of close to toilets but there's a lot of space around it and the nearby toilet wasn't a bother. The left wall intrudes on side legroom a bit, but unobstructed space to the front and to the side so room to stretch legs and easy to get in and out despite the relative seclusion of a "window" seat. Seat reclines OK. All in all, a fine seat for a red-eye flight

1K is a reasonable seat in first class. It is close to the front galley, and there is noise pollution from the meal preparation that takes place there. The seat is also more visible from 1F than seats in rows 2 or 3 are. However, it does have a larger storage cupboard than seats in rows 2 and 3.

No seats in BA First on the 777-300 have personal air vents, which can be a problem if the temperature is not to your liking.

This seat row was a good choice as I was able to look aft of the wing to see the ground and over the engine cowling to get a forward view. Any further forward and I would have been unable to see anything on the ground behind the wing.

3A is a quiet, private first class seat. It is far enough from the galleys at both ends that it does not suffer from any noise-pollution, nor is there any queuing for lavatories.
