General presentation

There are 84 Boeing 737s in the Alaska Airline’s fleet, 22 of which are the 700 (73G) model. They have a total seating capacity of 124 passengers, 12 in first class and 112 in coach class. Alaska is starting to change the configuration of the 73G aircrafts by adding an extra row of Coach creating a slightly different exit row configuration. This new configuration reduces the extra legroom that there used to be at the back of the plane. This aircraft has the longest range in the fleet, so you’ll probably find it on transcontinental flights.
DigEplayers are complimentary for first class passengers and may be rented for 10$ by other passengers. It is best to reserve beforehand although they can be rented on board if there is availability. They are available on the following routes: Anchorage-Seattle (they may not be reserved on this route), Fairbanks, Dallas FW, Chicago (O’hare), New York (Newark), Washington DC, Orlando and Miami to Seattle, Anchorage-Chicago and Washington DC and Cancun to Los Angeles.

The seats of this aircraft were really comfortable. Plus the service was really good. I really don't know much about Alaska Airways but this flight was quite impressive. The food was good, and the flight attendant was nice with every body. The plane did not have a good entretainment system.
