The A320s in the Alitalia fleet of 179 planes are used on short and medium-haul flights. These planes have a total seating capacity of 153 passengers in a two class layout. They cruise at a speed of 460 kts and have a range of 2400nm. The separation between business and economy class is with a sliding partition and though seating is the same throughout the plane, the middle seat is left free in business class.
Ottima class is the short and medium-haul business class and provides passengers with a selection of newspapers and magazines as well as offering a range of films, documentaries, news programmes and music channels.
