As of December 2010, the Air Berlin fleet had 10 operational Bombardier Dash 4 Q 400 aircrafts, all operated by LGW.
With a length of 32,81 metres ( ft) and a wingspan of 28,4 metres (197 ft10 in), the Q400 models of Bombardier are capable of a cruising speed of 414 mph (667 km/h) at 27,000 ft (8,230 m). Their maximum range is 1,567 miles (2,522 km).
On board short-haul flights, you will be served free snacks or sandwiches. On flights longer than 60 minutes, the company offers gourmet meals, but also vegetarian meals, gluten-free meals, lactose-free meals, meals for diabetics.
