Csa Czech Airlines check-in

What self check-in options are available for CSA Czech Airlines flights?

CSA Czech Airlines offers several options to check yourself in before or after arriving at the airport:

  • Web Check-in.
  • Mobile Check-in
  • Kiosk Check-in.

What are the check-in deadlines at the CSA Czech Airlines counters?

At most airports, several flights are handled at the same time at each Czech Airlines desk (so-called common check-in). At certain airports, however, you will find a separate desk for handling your Czech Airlines flight (so-called dedicated check-in). Either way, you must report for check-in sufficiently in advance. Passengers are required to arrive at the check-in counter at least 60 minutes before departure in order to accomplish all check-in procedures.

At Vaclav Havel Airport Prague (formerly Prague Ruzyne International Airport), the check-in counters close 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time (60 minutes before departure for flights to Beirut and Riyadh).

Web Check-in

Web Check-in is available when traveling from/to all CSA Czech Airlines destinations, between 36 hours and 1 hour before your departure with two exceptions:

  • To/from Seoul (ICN) – up to 90 minutes before departure.
  • From Skopje (SKP) – up to 5 hours before departure.

Web Check-in is not available if the first flight in the itinerary is operated by partner airline (OK3000 – 5999) or if a special service has been requested (e.g. Unaccompanied Minor service, wheelchair).

When departing from Beirut (BEY), Lisbon (LIS), Odessa (ODS), Porto (OPO), and Riyadh (RUH), the check-in process can be completed online, but passengers need to go to the check-in counter at the airport to have their boarding passes issued.

If you travel with hand baggage only, you can proceed directly to security screening with your printed boarding pass.

Mobile Check-in

Mobile Check-in is available when traveling from/to all CSA Czech Airlines destinations, between 36 hours and 1 hour before your departure (up to 90 minutes to/from Seoul  and up to 5 hours from Skopje).

At Kazan (KZN), Rostov on Don (ROV), Samara (KUF), St. Petersburg (LED), Ufa (UFA), and Yekaterinburg (SVX) airports, boarding passes saved in mobile phones are not accepted, therefore you must print your boarding pass beforehand or pick it up at the check-in desk.

You can receive your mobile boarding pass via E-mail (a message with your check-in details and a barcode) or SMS (a text message with a direct link to the boarding pass). You can save your boarding pass to the PassBook (if you are using an iPhone with iOS 6) or to your device (if the web browser on your device supports the HTML5 standards).

Kiosk Check-in

In line with worldwide trends, CSA Czech Airlines is gradually introducing the possibility of self-serve check-in through CUSS (Common-Use Self-Service) kiosks. Currently, CUSS (Common-Use Self-Service) kiosks are available at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague (formerly Prague Ruzyne International Airport). At the check-in kiosk, you can check in for most of Czech Airlines flights.
