The worse experience ever!!! See my uploaded pictures.. so that I can let the pictures speak for themselves.

I can just simply say their airplane as well as their gate are simply the filthiest of all airlines in the US. My Flight was from FLL to LAS flight # 777

Their seats were all torn, dirty, smelly, unsafe... etc.. you name it they had it (I mean all the bad stuff). They had a menu full of items, but the only thing available was ICE not even water.

Their staff was awful, rude, and not courteous at all!

Leg room is definitely crammed even though I am not 6'. Drinks, snacks, luggage, (even carry on) cost money but still WAY cheaper than any other flight especially for a last minute flight that I needed to take. Did get an aisle seat on the way back and was much more comfortable. So get your drink ($2.00 for a 16 oz in the airport, $3 for a can on the plane)and hope for an aisle seat or the exit row.

I am a disabled person and talk to Spirit person on corporate office about I want a larger seat even I offer to paid for it. She told me everything was taken care because the truble of my flight to PR and instead I got a smaller seat that if was not for another passenger I will not fit in. I was pleasantly surprised having read negative reviews of the Spirit Airlines experience. It really wasn't that bad and the price was certainly cheap. The staff were cheerful (favorite quote: "We take the R out of Free") The seat was a hollow shell, so the legroom was better than it appeared. I've been on much worse flights and paid a lot more! Try it, your bank manager will love you for it.

Face it your flying spirit to save some coin, 40 extra per seat is well worth it. Regular seating at 15 or 18 extra is really tight and erect, still less than 1/3 of first class with any other airline. Short trips are tolerable, longer than 1 hr 20 dollars or so is so worth it. Enjoy folks. Still best deal in the blue skies......

Absolutely terrible flight! I wanted to try Spirit Airlines and the legroom was very tight and they charge you for just about everything, food, drinks, baggage and who knows what else! The craziest and worst no frills airline I have ever heard of. Even other similar low cost airlines are better than this! Avoid Spirit

SEAT WAS RIGHT UP AGAINST THE DIVIDER BETWEEN FIRST CLASS AND COACH. THEY DO HAVE A LITTLE MORE LEGROOM AND THE OVERHEAD BIN WAS NO PROBLEM WITH ROOM. SOME DO NOT LIKE THE LIFT OUT TRAY IN THE ARM, BUT THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME. NICE RIDE.

Paid 30 for the extra legroom. Glad I did as the other seats were pretty tight. I didn't have any of the bad experiences the other posters indicate. As long as one makes certain they take care of everything before they get to the airport (internet only) there was no issue.

Don't fly spirit! The seats were VERY crammed, no entertainment. And to make matters worse, the flight was delayed 45 min. due to passengers that were not on the plane yet. This flight was in April of 2010, I have have flown my usual airline Delta ever since.

The seating is cramped and you pay for everything but overall not a horrible experiance. The plane was new and clean, the flight attendants were helpfull and pleasant. Because of the low fare I am actually using the airline again on the 27th for a flight to LAS.
